Luminarias
The tradition of “Las Luminarias” is celebrated every year on the night of January 16 in the small village of San Bartolomé de Pinares, a municipality of just over 600 inhabitants in Ávila (Spain). According to tradition people from the area ride their horses through the fire to purify the animals.
